Blogging and social media
I’m the founder of AcuTake, the first consumer acupuncture publication. I manage all writing, editing, design, and marketing for what has evolved into the leading online authority in the space. The quality of content on AcuTake led to an invitation from The Huffington Post for me to become one of its regular bloggers. I also write blog posts and social copy for other brands.
I recently wrote a book chapter profiling the Bullitt Center, a Net-Zero Energy office building in Seattle, for a European compilation on sustainable building. I am the author of Acupuncture Matters, the long-form manifesto for the online acupuncture publication I founded. Earlier in my career, I was a participating author in a book series published by Vault, where I contributed to books on careers in financial services, investment banking, asset management, and accounting.
I started writing professionally as a journalist, climbing from reporter to senior writer to managing editor to editor-in-chief on a variety of respected business publications. I’ve held positions at PRWeek, Sales & Marketing Management, Pharmaceutical Executive, and Medical Technology Investment Digest. As an independent journalist, I have written for The Huffington Post, EverydayHealth.com, Medical Marketing & Media, Acupuncture Today, and First Round Review, among others.
