Turn back time to move forward

Ever wish you could turn back time?

Take that leap.
Unsay that sentence.
Invest that money.
Make that decision.
Try that thing.
Go that direction.
Buy that house.
Start that project.
Ask that question.
Stretch that muscle.

We wish we could erase or change moments from our past because we’re convinced it would put us in a better position today.

This isn’t true.

The only thing keeping you from the life you want is the way you’re thinking about your past.

This is because the way you think about your past informs how you show up today.

If you’re ready to turn the page but digging into your past feels too hard, start by turning back time.

Huh?

I’m talking about literally turning the word “time” backwards.

At a recent book launch for one of my clients, I was reminded of something:

“Time” spelled backwards is “emit.”

!

To emit is to send forth, to produce, make, or release.

Instead of perpetuating the narrative that something from your past is holding you back, ask yourself:

What am I emitting today?

What am I giving off, putting out to the universe, contributing to the energetic field?

How is this influencing the outcomes I say I want?

If there’s dissonance there—what you’re putting out isn’t pulling in what you want—one of two things needs to change: your frequency or your goal.

When you start showing up in more authentic alignment with your goals, the stories from your past start shifting too.

Sometimes actual memories change, sometimes you start viewing the same memories with more understanding and acceptance. Either way, you’re rewriting your past.

Happy time traveling!
