Are you the leader of your life?
In my coaching practice, I work with leaders. They are:
Designers.
Entrepreneurs.
Directors.
Producers.
Lawyers.
Marketers.
Acupuncturists.
Filmmakers.
Engineers.
Writers.
These leaders are also:
Partners.
Moms.
Dads.
Daughters.
Sons.
Brothers.
Sisters.
Cousins.
Friends.
Neighbors.
Being the leader of your life is not about your job or even your relationships.
Here’s what else it’s not about:
Making a lot of money.
Wearing nice clothes.
Driving luxury cars.
Living in a beautiful house.
Having a certain body type.
Leadership qualities can surface at work and in relationships, and they can lead to certain externalities, but being a leader is not a position you hold or an item you own. It’s an internal way of being.
Here’s what it means to be the leader of your life:
You are committed to your personal growth and to making ambitious transformations.
You are determined to let go of the limits you’re putting on your potential.
You are open to new perspectives and curious about other people.
You are willing to get uncomfortable and take actions that defy the status quo.
You take personal responsibility for your life.
This doesn’t mean you need to have everything (or anything) figured out. You can be in a moment of total confusion, stuckness, or transition and still be the leader of your life.
Being the leader of your life isn’t about achievement or reaching milestones. It’s about willingness—to get in the arena and do what it takes to create a full-hearted, authentic life.
Are you willing?
If so, let’s talk.
